    Welcome to the Red Lantern, home to the Red Lantern Society! Here at the Lantern, we cater to those who love a little bit of intimacy and eroticism in their character development, and all of what we do is planned and performed with that in mind. We are an immersive role-play venue in the adult theme, and as such we do not permit minors - IC or OOC - onto our venue grounds or in our Discord, and we ask that all guests please respect that.Coffee & Tease is an adult event in that our companions are dressed in classy lingerie and are in a playful - but respectful - mood while conversing with our guests. As this is not a closed night, you will not find explicit nudity, crass language or anything more erotic than suggestive jokes. This event is an homage to the Bikini Barista theme often found in Washington, where you may find yourself served coffee by a young man or woman who is wearing, well, a bikini.It is our playful take on the cafe theme, one that we have been running since November of 2019, and we're so happy to continue our journey into each year with fond memories & new friends made year after year - thank you so much for six years of Coffee & Tease!

    Mind our rules, please!

    Absolutely no minors, IC or OOC. Discovery of a minor on our grounds will result in the immediate expulsion and ban of all members of the party - we hold adults responsible for those in their care, so please do not test this.Please keep all behavior appropriate and classy. While the venue caters to a more casual sort of client, we are heavy practitioners of consent and respect. Those who cannot abide by either have no place in our space and will be removed. We are aware that our venue is themed for adults and that a stigma is firm in the community, but we have a no-tolerance policy toward disrespectful and uncouth behavior. Not all of our staff play sex workers, do not assume such.Our Coffee & Tease event is not an explicit event and we require that all guests and companions are fully clothed and remain as such during the event. Companions are not available for personal or private hire during this event, as they are expected to assist in the entertainment and companionship of our guests throughout the night - if you are interested in personal hire, you can speak with Tsukiko through Discord or after the event.While we make every attempt to have available companions for our guests, we are a limited hire venue and community, which means that we are subject to feeling the lulls and burn-outs harder than other venues in our theme. We may not have enough staff on hand to get to you immediately, and appreciate your patience and respect if you are waiting. If you are alone, we suggest sitting at the bar, where our bartenders are quick to interact with you!We do permit our staff to communicate in party or tells if there is difficulty following chat, but we ask that our guests and staff do not use either to attempt to skirt our rules during this event; this is not an event for explicit content, and our use of the public chat channels is to assist in the protection of our members and guests, as well as to continue to provide a 'living' space for people to interact. It is frustrating to enter a venue that is full, but no one is talking, and we do not support that, here.Our venue does not take in-game currency for Coffee & Tease, but you are welcome to give our staff a tip of gil if you enjoy their company or appreciate their hard work.Coffee & Tease is a VIP-credit event, meaning that we count it for attendance toward earning the VIP role. Our VIPs are not a purchased rank, but instead one gifted to those who have supported us & become familiar to our members. As our VIP-centric events are more intimate and erotically-charged locked door events, we find that method is the most comfortable and natural for making certain that all parties feel safe. Anything explicit or overly descriptive in a distinctly sexual way is not permitted - by guest or staff. Seriously. Please do not be this kind of person.All other rules related to the treatment and respect of our staff are still in place and you will be banned from our other events and venue if you choose to ignore them. Beneath that caramel armor lies a custard so decadent it barely holds its shape, a pool of vanilla-flecked cream that yields to the barest pressure. Slide your spoon in slowly: feel the cool, velvety weight against your tongue, the bittersweet crunch of burnt sugar dissolving into a whisper of smoke and heat. It lingers - rich and impossibly smooth - before surrendering completely, leaving only the ghost of vanilla and the memory of a moan.

      A true delight and our favorite way to spend the month of Valentione's, our decadent interactive event returns for another round - and we've extended our playspace to an entire section of our cafe! Indulge in our companions and their attention while finding new treats to sample and new friends to make! With a variety of pastries, cookies and other finger foods and an assortment of delights to dip them in, you're sure to find a new favorite - or reconnect with an old one!

       
      The Rules!

      We have updated our cafe floorplan to provide a clear delineation between the 'safe' areas of the floor and the fondly named 'splash zone' of the cafe. Passing the doorway that leads to the 'back' of the cafe is giving implicit permission for a companion to approach and interact with you in regards to the Chocolate Table. We ask that if you are not interested in this or uncomfortable with such, you remain in the front half of the cafe, the side with the bar.The Chocolate Table opens an hour into service and remains open for the evening. We ask that you remain out of the back room until service is called - please let our companions get settled in and shake off the nerves! When you are finished or if you need a break/AFK, please exit the 'splash zone' so that we do not have companions emoting at you and waiting for a response that won't come. You are welcome to come back in when you return!The Chocolate Table is strictly a sensual event and we are very firm in what is and is not alright to do during the event. Our companions must remain dressed and may not remove any clothing that would render them nude, partially or fully. You may lick fingers, hands and forearms clean of toppings if you like, but anything else is strictly forbidden. You may use fruits/pastries to remove drizzles from other locations.All emotes must remain classy. Anything explicit or overly descriptive in a distinctly sexual way is not permitted - by guest or staff.Please keep the comforts of your friends in mind when sitting in the 'splash zone.' Our staff will try to interact with anyone and everyone they can, and it's not fun at all to suddenly run up against someone who vehemently shuts down. If you have a character that is uncomfortable but you as their player are alright with the contact, please communicate that swiftly!All food on the Chocolate Table is harmless. Any emotes attempting to indicate otherwise and set up companions or staff for harm will result in the offender being very swiftly removed from the venue. You will not be burned by anything, nothing will cut you. Do not imply otherwise.
